If you're an international student aspiring to study in Canada, securing admission is the first step towards obtaining a student visa. Here's an updated guide on the application process and the necessary documentation:

Admission Process:

  1. Course and Institution Selection:
    Choose your preferred course and institution that align with your academic and career goals.
  2. Application Submission:
    Complete and submit the online application form to your chosen institution or college.
  3. Letter of Acceptance:
    Upon review, you’ll receive a Letter of Acceptance from the institution.
  4. Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCOE):
    Issuance of eCOE is a crucial step in the visa process.
  5. Student Visa Application:
    Our experts assist in preparing and submitting the student visa application (Student Visa – Subclass 500).

Documents Required for Offer Letter:

  • • Birth and Leaving Certificate
  • • Passport size photographs
  • • Passport
  • • 10th & 12th Marksheet, Credit & Trial Certificates
  • • Diploma Mark sheet, Degree Certificate / Provisional Certificate
  • • ITI’s Mark sheet, Degree Certificate
  • • Bachelor’s / Master’s Mark sheet & Degree Certificate
  • • Work Experience Letter (if required)
  • • IELTS / PTE certificate

Visa Application Process:

International students must obtain Student Authorization and a Visa before arriving in Canada.

  1. Timeframe: Allow up to 2 months for visa processing.
  2. Required Documents:
    • Police Clearance & Medical Reports
    • Academic Certificates
    • Proof of Funds
    • Offer letter from Canadian institution
    • College / University fee receipt
    • GIC payment receipt / Education loan letter
    • Statement of Purpose
    • Other relevant certificates
  3. English Language Requirements:
    Ensure you meet the English proficiency requirements for your chosen program.

Funding:

Students applying under the Student Partners Program (SPP) must follow specific funding procedures:

  • Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC):
    Purchase a GIC account and deposit CAD 10,200 as proof of living expenses for one year.
  • Payment Process:
    • Create a new email with Scotia Bank (4–5 days)
    • Wire transfer CAD 10,200
    • Receive CAD 10,000 (CAD 200 admin charge)
  • Account Activation:
    Print payment receipt, self-attest, and activate savings account upon arrival in Canada.
